Tours of U.S. Capitol, White House & Other Institutions Suspended
As of March 12, 2020, the House Office of the Attending Physician and the House and Senate Sergeant at Arms have suspended tours of the U.S. Capitol, effective immediately, through April 1st.
Similarly, out of an abundance of caution, the White House, Supreme Court, Library of Congress, and Bureau of Engraving and Printing have also announced they will be cancelling tours through early April.
Congressman DeFazio greatly appreciates your patience and understanding and apologize for any inconvenience these closures have caused you and your family. Oregonians travel a great distance to see their nation’s capital. While these disruptions are disappointing, it is because of an abundance of caution for your health.
