WASHINGTON, DC--U.S. Congressman Peter DeFazio (D-Springfield) has changed the location of the Tuesday August 18th Eugene town hall meeting to the Eugene Hilton and Convention Center.  This facility can accommodate a larger number of people.  The change is in response to overwhelming interest in the event.  No other town hall meeting location on this day has been changed.

At the town hall meetings, DeFazio plans to discuss recent congressional efforts to address the current economic crisis, transportation legislation and health care reform, among other issues of interest.  The meetings will give DeFazio an opportunity to hear concerns and answer questions about federal issues.
